Parents should teach self defense training to daughters along with studies.

Lucknow, 16 December. Indian Bank in association with Let’s Give Hope Foundation Today organized self-defense training for 250 girl students in Maharaja Agrasen Public School, Gomti Nagar in the direction of women empowerment under Saksham programme. The aim of the program is to curb the serious problems like rape, molestation and women harassment that are increasing in the country.. The world is changing and becoming unpredictable, in such a situation self defense training is very necessary for every girl child to keep herself safe. Self Defense Training Workshop was started by Chief Guest Prakash D and Pankaj Tripathi by showing the flag.

As the chief guest in the workshop, Additional DGP and Chairman UP Police Housing Corporation, Prakash D said that only daughters can build a better society. Through Self Defense we are preparing them to protect themselves, this is a strong initiative towards women empowerment.

On this occasion, the regional offices of Indian Bank General Manager Mr. Pankaj Tripathi said that Indian Bank has always been working on women empowerment as a part of its Corporate Social Responsibility. Together with Let’s Give Hope Foundation, we also got the opportunity to take this mission forward and contribute towards building a crime free society.

Principal of the school CK Chowdhary said that this is a good initiative by Indian Bank and Let’s Give Hope. Every parent should provide self-defense training to their daughters along with studies.

In this program folk singer Sanjoli Pandey was honored as a capable woman in this program.

Also explained the tricks and nuances of block, punching and kicking techniques to survive in times of crisis or when attacked by someone. The trainers of Lucknow Taekwondo Association said that the techniques learned to save themselves in times of crisis instilled confidence in the girls and made them feel safe.

Ashish Maurya, the founder of Let’s Give Hope Foundation, told that we will take this mission forward in the whole of Uttar Pradesh.

Vibhav Srivastava, Amit Singh Rana, Aman Ansari Ambuj Rai, Sonia, Shubham Verma, Himanshu Singh was present from the institution and all the students and teachers of the school were present in the program.
